Submit a Site Launch Request
Going live is a very simple process. Simply pick the day you'd like to go live then fill out the Launch Request Form. You'll be asked for the following information:
- Your Name
- Your Email
- Website Name
- Web Express URL: this will be something like www.colorado.edu/p1234xyz7890.
- Existing URL: Do you have an existing site that will be replaced with your new Web Express site?
- Requested URL: URLs for Web Express sites are in the format of www.colorado.edu/{requested-url}, use only lowercase, and are subject to approval by Strategic Communications.
- Launch Date: Allow us a minimum of five business days to review and launch your site. We do not review or launch sites on weekends or holidays. If we encounter accessibility or brand related issues with your site during the review, your site may not launch on the day you requested.
- Forwards: Include the URLs of any old websites that should be forwarded to this new one.
- Exceptions: Include the URLs of any subpages on the old websites that still need to be available to the public.

We will review your site to make sure it meets accessibility standards, check for broken links, and verify that the site is within CU-Boulder's branding guidelines. We'll notify you if we find any problems. Problems must be fixed before the site goes live. Once all is well, we will put the site live and let you know.
