Add-On Roles
Adding additional permissions to site editors or edit my content roles is very simple. Customize roles and permissions to uniquely fulfill your site maintenance needs.
Note: Site owners and site editors with the access manager add-on role may edit user permissions. Learn more about roles and permissions.
Each site has four add-on roles that may be assigned to site editors or edit my content roles that will add additional permissions to the user.
- Access Manager
- Configuration Manager
- Form Manager
- Campaign Manager
Access Manager
This role is designed for users to help manage the users and their roles on a site. A Site Owner may assign the Access Manager role to 3 additional Site Editors.
This role can:
- Invite users
- Manage access roles
- Delete or block users
Add-on role available for:
- Site Editor role
Configuration Manager
This role is designed for users to help manage site configurations. A Site Owner or Site Editor with Access Manager permissions may assign the configuration manager role to 3 additional Site Editors.
This role can:
- Edit site name/description
- Change the site theme
- Set and edit site Google Analytics
- Enabled bundles
- Manage site launch (feature coming soon)
- Request clone of site (feature coming soon)
Add-on role available for:
- Site Editor role
Form Manager
This role is designed to provide higher protection of data being collected on a site. Form Managers may create new forms on a site, invite other users to review form submissions and edit the forms they have created. They may not edit forms created by other form managers.
Note: Site Owners have access to all forms. A Site Owner or Site Editor with Access Manager permissions may assign the form manager role to the site editor or edit their own roles. (Requires Forms bundle).
This role can:
- Create new forms
- Add form reviews to their forms
- Edit the forms they have created
Add-on role available for:
- Site Editor role
- Edit My Own role
Campaign Manager
This role is designed for individuals who need to manage tracking pixels or other embeds for a site. A Site Owner or Site Editor with Access Manager permissions may assign the campaign manager role to users with the Edit My Own role without making them the author of any content and the user will only be able to manage tracking pixels or other embeds for a site. This is the most restricted campaign manager permission level. A Site Owner or Site Editor with Access Manager permissions may assign the campaign manager role to the site editor or edit my own roles. (Requires Digital Campaign bundle).
This role can:
- Add an embed item
- Edit an embed item
- Manage embeds from the embeds overview page
Add-on role available for:
- Site Editor role
- Edit My Own role
