People List Categories

Job Type and Department are the two main categories of people. From these two categories, you can create filtered People List Pages. For example, a page of Support Staff from the Theatre department or Instructors in the Fitness-Wellness department.

People can then be further filtered by one of the three sub-filters: People Filter 1, People Filter 2 and People Filter 3.

You can also add, edit or delete the taxonomy terms related to the people content types.

Note: you must enable the People bundle to use this feature.

Navigate to Taxonomy Terms

  1. Go to the Express toolbar and select Structure.
  2. Select Taxonomy from the list of options.

You'll see a list of vocabularies, i.e. categories. Five of the vocabularies are dedicated to people: Department, Job Type, People Filter 1, People Filter 2 and People Filter 3.

Add Taxonomy Term

  1. To add a term, click on add terms next to the vocabulary name to which you would like to add a term. 
  2. Enter the new term in the Name field.
  3. Click Save.

Change or Delete Taxonomy Term

  1. To change or delete a term, click on list terms next to the vocabulary name to which you would like to change/delete. 
  2. Choose edit next to the name you want to change/delete.  
  3. Change the name by typing the change into the Name field. Everything tagged with this term will be updated. Delete the term by scrolling to the bottom and clicking Delete. The term will be removed from every person tagged with it.
  4. Click Save

Reorder Terms 

Terms are listed alphabetically by default, but you can create a custom order by dragging term items to the placement you desire.

  1. Click and drag the crosshairs next to a term item to reorder terms.
  2. Click Save.
