People List Page Ordering

People list Pages offer several ways to display people on the page.

One option is to create a custom order that is not alphabetical but rather a predefined order that you create. The most typical use case is when a unit has a "Director" and an "Assistant Director". By default, terms are listed in alphabetical order in the site's taxonomy. Since the Director position is above the Assistant Director in organizational chart hierarchy, people list pages may also display this hierarchy.

Setup Needed:

  1. Predefine the order you would like to display on the People List Page, such as director, assistant director, lead faculty, etc.
  2. Create Person pages and use the Job Type field to designate the individuals as needed.

Note: You may also use the people filters 1-3.
